Accommodations
The internal configuration of The Inn provides four wards with five runs each for large dogs, a separate ward with cages for small dogs, and a spacious room for cats. Adjacent runs have a communicating door that allows two large dogs to be together with plenty of space. Each cat boards in a condominium, and is isolated from all dog activity.
Day Boarding and Extended Stays
Day boarders are $10 less per day and must have a reservation. Long term boarders (over 10 days) will a 10% discount.
Vaccinations
All vaccinations, to include Bordetella (kennel cough) must be current.
Exercise
There is a 660 square foot enclosed area for exercise. Dogs will go outside throughout the day, but always under supervision. Dogs that require more exercise can easily be accommodated.
Bathing
Bathing is available for all Jolly Pond clients. Dogs that have been boarding for more than 4 nights will receive a complimentary bath. Animals that are bathed will go home in the afternoon.
Veterinary Care
If a boarding animal requires medical attention, it will be transferred to the hospital building where veterinary care is available seven days a week. There is no 24 hour continual staffing in the hospital. In a catastrophic medical emergency, an animal would be transferred to the Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Yorktown for 24 hour care. Charges for these services are not included in boarding fees. Owners will always be contacted regarding medical decisions, if possible.
Monitoring
The Inn is monitored by Kamco Services when staff is not in the building. There is no overnight staffing.
